I am a certified elementary special education teacher from Michigan. I am also certified to teach in Colorado and Hawai'i. I currently live in Seoul, South Korea with my husband, who is in the Air Force, and our two-year-old son. I love teaching and can't wait until I can get back in to my own classroom. Right now, I am working with infants and toddlers at the child development center on U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan. It is different than anything I've done before. My favorite part is being one of the first people to see all the milestones the children in my classroom are reaching. I have seen kids learn to roll over, crawl, and walk, among other developmental milestones. It really is a privilege to be a part of their lives in that way. When I'm not working or spending time chasing my toddler, I like to get out and explore Seoul. It is such an amazing and vibrant city. Traveling is something I have always loved. I have lived in Michigan, Australia, California, Hawai'i, and this is my second time living in Seoul. We hope to also visit Thailand and Japan during our time here. I also enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and Zumba.
